Mark comes to us with extensive knowledge and experience in distribution, sales, marketing, broker management, networking, strategic planning, and forecasting, etc of over twenty-five years. This extensive background in the CPG industry and specialty food arena has brought him through some of the top companies in the country, like Nabisco Brands, Soda Stream, as well as consulting for Canadian companies on how to enter the USA Market through the Alberta Government Agriculture business center. His experience as VP of Sales North America, Director of North American Sales, National Sales Manager and Regional Sales Manager will undoubtedly bring us an expert to our team as the new Director of Supermarket Accounts.

In his most recent roll he as VP of Sales for a Mexican Salsa company, he coordinated the hiring and training of all the brokers and national accounts mangers. He called on all major supermarket accounts across the US like, Wal-Mart, Sams Club, Costco, Safeway, Albertsons, Kroger, Supervalu, and Sprouts. He also managed all the national distributors like, UNFI, DPI, SuperValu & Kehe. During this time, he gained more then a 1,000 new store placements nationally.
Mark has earned his stripes in the CPG arena and will be a great asset to the Ilevel team. He has received honors from Nabisco Brands for double digit sales growth at Wal-Mart. Received honors from Anna’s for exceptional sales & marketing development at key accounts. Received honors from Gille for development of sales & marketing plan that exceeded sales targets 3 years in a row.

Mark resides in Mesa, Arizona with his wife Melody of 32 years and has 4 children and 1 grandson and 2 son in-laws that keep him busy. He also enjoys golf, cooking, boating, traveling, spending time with family, watching football and baseball.

Nancy Dagnall

Nancy has over 30 years of successful industry experience in the natural foods channel. Experience with health and beauty products/process development, supplier partnerships, business planning and store operational execution, she can offer expertise to any new product development and launches. Prior to iLevel Brands, Nancy spent over 30 years working for Whole Foods Market in a variety of roles.

In her most recent role as Senior Project Manager for the Whole Foods Global Whole Body, Nancy was lead on the distribution project, supporting brand product moves from direct ship to the distributor model. She worked with the brands to prepare for a move to distribution, creating timelines, inventory needs and constant communication to make the transition as smooth as possible for the brand.

Prior to this, Nancy worked as the Whole Body Purchasing Coordinator in Austin. Here she worked with the Global Team to partner with the Regional Leadership and Whole Food initiatives. Key objectives included supplier meetings and communication, global category refresh process, global product launches and global promotions.

Prior to working in Austin, Nancy took on the roles of Whole Body Coordinator in MA and SO regions. There her work included hiring and mentorship of whole body team leadership. Participated in many new stores and remodels. Worked with suppliers, promotions and pricing. During her time with Whole Foods, she won Global and Regional All*Star awards as well as Most Improved Program.

Nancy began her career in the SW region. He started out as a cashier and quickly moved from there to store positions including Cash Up, Store Scanner, Front End Team Leader, Supplement Buyer, Whole Body Team Leader, Cheese Buyer, Specialty Team Leader. Eventually she was promoted to Associate Whole Body Coordinator in SW region, when SW included Colorado and New Mexico area as well. RM region was created later.

Mark has been involved in the Specialty, Natural & Organic industry since 1999. Over the last 19 years he’s worked on the distributor, manufacturer & broker side of the business. Mark started out as a Field Sales Representative at Tree of Life & worked several positions throughout his 10 years there up to Senior Account Manager calling on Roundy’s.

Mark also had the opportunity to work on the Manufacturer side for 5 years & learned how products are created, tested & make it into the marketplace. Having the last 5 years of Broker experience has brought several successes for our brands as well as many outstanding business relationships with the buyers, distributor account managers & the store personnel at multiple Midwest accounts.

Mark appreciates seeing products from their infancy make it to the shelf. The process of learning about the products to where they will be positioned, to how much it cost to finally see it on the shelf are just part of the entire process. Relationships in this industry are built on trust, commitment to the overall job and excellent communication from the manufacturer to the buyers & store personnel.

Everyday Mark looks forward to providing that leadership to the peers he works with day in & day out. Providing our manufacturers with the knowledge & experience is why he has continued to work in the broker side of the business. Creating a winning team is Mark’s #1 goal in this industry.

Barbara Devine

Barbara Devine has over 30 years in the CPG industry starting her career in the purchasing department for Giant Landover. She has experience in category management, sales, procurement, inventory control, contract negotiation, promotional planning, product development, analytics and food safety.

As the Sr. Merchandising Manager for Peapod by Giant for 6 years she was responsible for purchasing, merchandising and inventory control with revenues of $65MM annually. Through assortment and promotions, she helped the company realize an average basket increase of 8% while managing gross product margin and exceeding budget by 1.7% year over year. She developed general merchandise and seasonal programs to help grow sales and volume. Her responsibilities included the fresh market prep team with development of onsite deli, meat, seafood and produce programs as well as food safety compliance.

Prior to Peapod by Giant online shopping and home delivery she worked with Advantage / ESM as the Director of Sales Planning. Her responsibilities included planning and managing manufacturer funds to meet retail objectives for sales while supporting corporate marketing initiatives. Provided analytics and presentations for manufacturers and major retailers in the Mid Atlantic.

During her time with Giant Landover she was promoted through a series of roles that included responsibility for merchandising, purchasing and category development. Her roles included buyer, Sr. Buyer and Category Manager in various departments starting with health & beauty then moving on to general merchandise, grocery, frozen, dairy, deli and seafood. During her time there she developed and coordinated a cross merchandising program with general merchandise resulting in an average 15% increase for participating items. She worked as a member of the team grocery helping develop the company purchasing system and roll out of category management. While on the dairy deli team she was responsible for pricing and assortment of more than 1100 items in addition to promotional merchandising and the company holiday dinner program. She served as the category manager for Fresh Seafood managing assortment, promotional planning and inventory control for 176 retail stores. She achieved targeted annual sales of more than $84MM while maintaining budget gross profit and reducing shrink.

Andy Chasen

Andy has 30 years of successful sales, sales management, and entrepreneurial experience.  He brings significant strength to the Brand Management team with emphasis in the VMS and HBC categories while at the same time managing key New York Metro supermarket accounts.

Prior to joining the ilevel Brands family, Andy spent 15 years in the natural trade channel. He has extensive retailer and vendor experience. Breaking into the natural channel with Natrol in 2003. Andy spent 8 years with Natrol.  Originally brought in to manage the Eastern Region. He was promoted to National Distributor Manager and then to National Key Account Manager.

In 2010, Andy became VP of Sales at Select Nutrition. Andy spent almost 5 years with Select Nutrition managing both the sales and customer service teams. Increasing sales and distribution while building strategic relationships with both retailers and vendors. His distribution expertise helped emerging as well as legacy brands transition from direct lines to distributor based lines.

Mark Abrahams

Mark brings 12 years of experience in Brand Marketing, Product Development & National Sales Management working for over 10 consumer packaged goods companies selling into multiple categories. These include frozen, snack, candy, gluten free, beverage, personal care and general merchandise. He has experience in multiple channels including Natural, Grocery, Mass, Drug and Specialty.

Part of the founding team at Kalahari which put Rooibos on the map and sold the brand into almost 10,000 store doors, Mark held the key responsibility for the natural channel nationally. Post Kalahari, Mark went to EcoSMART and as the Sr. Brand Manager grew it into #1 Brand of non-toxic green pesticides with sales in Grocery, Natural, Home Centers, and Mass. In 2009 he joined iLevel brands and has since worked as the Contract National Sales Manager for Natralia, Freekeh Foods, Tolerant Foods and more. He helped establish iLevel’s western broker network, creating relationships with UNFI West, Threshold, Natures Best and providing national scope for the clients. He is skilled in guiding young brands through all phases of growth, providing know how in sales strategy, operations, marketing and business management. Mark holds an MBA and Bachelors of Industrial Engineering both from Georgia Tech.

Ginger Molthen

With more than 10 years experience in the food industry, Ginger offers a wide-range of skills. She and her husband started a food company, Pepper Dog Specialty Foods which grew to over 700 stores throughout the East Coast. In 2009, her experience as a food manufacturer led her to venture out into contract sales management. Since 2009, she has worked as a contract sales manager for companies from the start-up phase to established national brands. Her experience includes: Meeting with key buyers in both conventional and natural trade including The Fresh Market, Whole Foods, Ingles, Harris Teeter, Dierbergs to present products and develop promotional programs to fit the needs of the vendor. Working with UNFI and KeHE to introduce new products, manage ongoing concerns with distribution and ensure that all promotional activities were managed correctly. Strategizing with brands to focus their sales and marketing efforts to grow the company. Brands represented include: Oogave Sodas, Native USA, 9 Sons Rising, Qbel, and Route 11 Potato Chips. Managing broker networks for clients – including market visits, implementing sales strategy and presenting at sales meetings. Strong sales experience through distributor trade shows, regional trade shows, broker sales meetings and one on one meeting with buyers.

Dana Rogers brings extensive natural independent channel experience to the iLevel Brands Team. In a previous role as Midwest Regional Manager for an East Coast Brokerage company, Dana has represented hundreds of brands and worked extensively with NCG co-ops, INFRA and natural independent retailers gaining the skills to achieve sales and brand presence within this important segment of our marketplace. Managing the natural sales team, Dana creates centralized systems and strategies to make our team efficient in their information and allow greater time focused on your brand. Moving from the old brokerage model of a “milk route” mentality, Dana manages the sales team with unique iLevel technologies, designed to give our sales force void and sales data, by brand, and by retailer, enabling her team to target where the opportunities are. Dana’s focus is to build and monitor the tools the sales force needs to present your brand, where it matters, every time. Our unique reporting gives you an “eye-level” view of our efforts on your behalf every month.

Dana’s experience prior to the natural foods industry includes Advertising and Promotional Marketing in the CPG industry, working with leading brands such as Pillsbury, General Mills, Quaker Oats, and Apple Computers within a large national agency setting.

Marcy Guyer

Marcy has extensive knowledge in both the HBC and Grocery categories. She has worked successfully in the natural foods industry for almost 30 years in virtually every facet it has to offer. Having extensive and long-standing experience in sales, marketing, production, education, distribution, and publishing, this industry has never been “just a job” for Marcy. In her spare time, she works with a non-profit organization to bring local, healthy food options to under-served portions of the community.

She began her career opening and managing independent retail stores, aiding in the production of a private label supplement line, coordination of independent chain warehouse, and conducting aromatherapy and herbalism seminars.

Marcy later became a top performer for Natrol developing a five-state sales region, as well as training retail management and sales staffs on the entire product line.

As the Director of Sales and Marketing for H-P Distributors, she was responsible for developing and maintaining all aspects of sales, advertising and marketing for a national product distributor. This includes supervising the sales force; aid in determining product mix for multiple warehouses; formatting, planning and editing quarterly catalogs; coordinating product promotions with manufacturers and retailers; as well as planning and executing trade show activities and promotions.

Marcy later worked with Smart Living Stores, a specialty distributor and retailer in the natural foods industry. She managed the wholesale division of the company, including client development, supervising the sales force, coordinating promotions, trade show management, and developing and maintaining relationships with vendors as well as assisting in the management of the company’s on-line retail divisions. She coordinated and assisted in the transition from a product based company to a publishing company, where she retained the positions of Project Manager, Editor, and Associate Publisher.

Vince Griesman

Vince has over 30 year’s of successful industry experience in the natural foods channel. A guru of products/process development, strategic marketing/sales, and store operational execution, he offers significant expertise to any new product launch. Prior to iLevel Brands, Vince spent 30 years working for Whole Foods Market in a variety of roles.

In his most recent role as Grocery Coordinator for the Whole Foods South Region, Vince lead the Grocery, Dairy, Frozen and Bulk Foods teams. He helped to build and maintain all planograms, hire and mentor grocery leadership as well as help with the build and redesign of new and current stores in the SO region. On his watch, the SO region opened 25 new stores in GA, NC, SC, AL, TN and MS. As Grocery Coordinator, he won 8 All*Star awards for best programs in the SO region. This included a Global All*Star award for the best Grocery Program in the company.

Prior to this, Vince worked as the Associate Grocery Coordinator for the SW Whole Foods Region. Here he worked with regional and local store buying teams to create best practices on product mix, retail pricing and off shelf programs including promotional pricing to increase store sales and profitability. He worked with vendors and brokers to optimize the success of product launches and promotional plans throughout the SW Region. As usual, he was also the recipient of multiple John Mackey All*Star awards while in the SW.

Vince worked his way up the ladder in his early years in the SW region. He started out as a grocery team member but quickly moved up to be a store level Frozen Buyer and then Grocery Buyer. He was soon promoted to Grocery Team Leader then Associate Store Team Leader.
